The models aren’t really ideal for my purposes but they’re far better than standard feet.ģ. Tweak the textures a bit more – especially on the feet.
Currently I just have them placed in a chest in Whiterun.Ģ. Skyrim scripting is quite new to me so advice on this front is welcome. I still need a way to add the correct wings potion (male wings and female wings) to the PC’s inventory on creating a pharlan PC. Even without these it looks good and is still fun to play.ġ.
Though the mod is already looking good it could use a few more things to be closer to my vision for pharlans. I am posting this partly as a request for help. Screenshots can be seen here: Textures are mostly complete aside from the feet and possibly the male wings. I'll likely wait until after the remaster is released before I release this. This is a work in progress race mod for Skyrim though it is fairly close to a potential release, it needs a bit more polishing. Enough modding groundwork has been done by others that I believe the time has come to make a version of them for Skyrim. They feature in my many short stories and two novels. Pharlans are my creation, originally invented nearly twenty years ago. You're going to need a copy of Skyrim Special Edition. Some of you may know that I made and pharlans are my favorite race. Skyrim wouldn't be the same without its excellent modding community. Leaving a few dollars can really make their day, but do consider at least leaving a comment and endorsing their work. Modders create and release extra content for fun and for the love of scripting, but leaving an endorsement or even a donation can provide much-needed feedback, especially if you've enjoyed hours of entertainment because of said mod(s). Mod authors generally offer information in mod descriptions on the Nexus should their files require to be configured in a set order, and there are even tools available like LOOT that can check to see if there are any problems with your setup. This list is important because some mods and files need to be loaded by the game in a specific order. Once you have a few mods downloaded you may notice the load order start to populate.
Nexus is a dedicated platform for modders to release and update their mods for various titles, including Skyrim Special Edition. In this guide, we'll be using Vortex (previously called Nexus Mod Manager), which is universally recommended to keep things organized and to make installing larger packages an absolute breeze.
